Bird Plates

I'm really not obsessed with birds.  Really! That said, I was flipping through the pages of the West Elm catalog tonight and came across these cute plates.

I want eight of these for the summer.  We eat outside every evening that its not crazy hot and these seem like the perfect plate. They are made of melamine, cost $20 for a set of four, and are dishwasher safe. The idea of not lugging my expensive Apilco plates outside, and fearing my son will drop his on the ground, would really make my al fresco dinners all the more enjoyable.
